Walking, running, stepping, moving, living. Your feet are important to living your life. If you have a foot or ankle condition that causes you pain, it affects your entire life and overall well-being.

I have dedicated myself to providing the highest level of care to the most intricate structure of your body, your lower extremities. My training has been intense – focusing on trauma, deformities and reconstruction of the foot and ankle. I bring this level of detail, experience and understanding to every patient I see, no matter what the condition.

A few things that make my practice unique from other physicians as well as other foot and ankle health care providers.

  • Completed four years of medical school (M.D.). The curriculum covers basic and clinical sciences, surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine and all other medical specialties
  • Completed five years of accredited graduate medical education (residency training) in orthopaedic surgery
  • Satisfactory completion of the national medical licensing examination
  • Continuing medical education credits over a specific time period.
  • Board certification: Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery

feet01What is an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon?

Orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons are medical doctors (MD and DO) who specialize in the diagnosis, care, and treatment of patients with disorders of the musculoskeletal system of the foot and ankle. This includes the bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, nerves, and skin.

Orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons use medical, physical, and rehabilitative methods as well as surgery to treat patients of all ages. They perform reconstructive procedures, treat sports injuries, and manage and treat trauma of the foot and ankle.
