10.7.2011: AOA in association with The Joint Preservation Center has been designated an international teaching facility for each of these organizations: ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopedic Sports and Medicine) and ICRS (International Cartilage Repair Society.) Dr. Joseph Berman is a fellow of both of these organizations.
10.3.2011:Dr. Eric Wieser will be traveling to Peru to participate in an expedition to help local surgeons and children. He will be teaching techniques, performing day surgeries and bringing equipment to help the community. Follow his trip on our Facebook page. 04.22.2011: AOA brings the Easter Bunny to visit doctors and patients in the Arlington and Mansfield Area. The Easter bunny also visited Cooks Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth to play with the kids and participate in the Easter Egg hunt.
04.05.2011: AOA supported Toms shoes by walking barefoot 1 ½ miles around the block to help raise awareness about children without shoes. With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One.™
