What it isPM&R, also known as physiatry, is a branch of medicine devoted to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders that may produce temporary or permanent impairment and functional disability. Our physicians will use approaches such as physical therapy which sometimes can be combined with medication and injections. Our PM&R physicians are nerve, muscle, bone and joint experts.
